BARROOM MESSIAH by Charles Brown and friends

The Barroom Messiah produced by Charles Brown and friends is a performance of Part 1 of the Messiah by Georg Fredric Handel with professional soloists and a small orchestra with the audience performing the choruses as a singalong. We take time to rehearse everyone then perform. Today it is a holiday tradition for many and has evolved to include two more locations.
On December 16 for the midcoast region we debut at Bistro La Cave on the waterfront in Camden. You are welcome to join us to sing or listen. Rehearsal begins at 2:30 pm with a performance time of 4:30PM.
We perform in an informal setting but we are serious about our work so when the performance begins phones are off (unless you need it to light your part). Applause for the participants is encouraged. We have a vocal part for you to borrow if you need one. Please patronize our advertisers. There is no charge for any of this but DONATIONS MAKE THIS WORK so please be generous so our event can continue. When we are done it is time to socialize and take advantage of the food and drink of our hosts. Be generous to the help. Please join us this December for an afternoon of magnificent music making.
