Lorna embarked on her musical journey at the tender age of 6. Her adventure started with top 40, funk, and show bands, before finding her true calling in the intricate realm of jazz, inspired by the legendary Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Anita O’Day, and Shirley Horn. 🎷🌟
Her career led her across the US and Canada, performing as a band vocalist at prestigious venues such as the Caribe Hilton in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and the Four Seasons in Toronto, Canada. Back in New England, Lorna graced stages with her own band and entranced audiences as a solo singer/pianist in various esteemed establishments. 🎤🎼
Since 2008, Lorna has been enchanting the Maine music scene with her jazz renditions, drawing from a rich American Songbook. She breathes life into timeless classics such as “Embraceable You”, “Girl from Ipanema”, “My Funny Valentine”, and many more! 🎵💃
